Who should attend: this event is open to all who recognize the lack of services and quality of care barriers faced by those impacted by Hepatitis C. We invite consumers, patients and family members, caregivers, members of community based organizations, healthcare providers, and concerned NY residents who will not stand idle until our elected officials become informed and take the necessary steps to develop an effective comprehensive Hepatitis C plan. HCV is one of the most grossly ignored and under funded public health issue in our state. We have organized small groups to meet with key Senators and Assembly members who make important decisions regarding funding and priorities for health issues such as Hepatitis C.
